Template:HelpHeadlines are used to divide articles into sections.

Technical use

To create a level 2 headline, simply put two = signs around the text you wish to headline, at the beginning of a line, or, alternatively, click on the File:Button headline.png button in the toolbar. Level 1 headlines are the same style of the article title, and should be avoided in any case.

Sub-headlines are created with 3 = signs, and so on. In the table of contents, the hierarchy of the sections will be displayed in accordance to the headlines; level 2 headlines will be displayed as 1, 2, 3, etc., while level 3 headlines as 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, and so on.
