This is the basic template used for creating navigational templates. To use it, create a new template, and copy the following text into it:
{{Navigation
|title=
|image=
|contents=
}}

Then, fill in the parameters, as follows:

  • Title: the title of the template. e.g. "Citadel Island".
  • Image: a representative image to be used at the left of the template. This should include the full code, and not only the file name. Preferably make the image small, about 70-100 pixels.
  • Contents: Here goes the actual content of the template. List here all items relevant to the template, including those not yet written (one of the advantages of such templates is to see what's not written yet in the subject). Separate each item with a • or a dash (-).

Eventually, categorize the template, like that: [[Category:Navigational templates|template name]], replacing the name of the template with "template name". Don't forget to add the <noinclude> tag before and after the category.
