Twinsuniverse talk:Contributors
Do you think this page is necessary?
This page is a copy from the old site... Do you think it's still needed now? While the list can grow rapidly, and now many people do more than just a thing or two, it does give credit to some people who contributed a lot, credit that appears nowhere else on the site. What do you think? morshem 21:44, 26 Nov 2006 (CET)
I'd say..
I don't really think it's that needed anymore. This I say mostly because the original writers of the articles are often(always?) mentioned in the discussion part of each article. Like this, for example Talk:Ticket office (Citadel Island)
The list of current contributors are better being refered to the User list.
Well, that's my two kashes.--Homeless 01:09, 27 Nov 2006 (CET)
- Well, yes, but... all the map creators/image printscreeners only get their credit here. As I don't know who did what, I can't just go into the maps/images and give their credits there... morshem 05:32, 27 Nov 2006 (CET)
- That's troublesome indeed. --Homeless 08:35, 27 Nov 2006 (CET)
New version: Twinsuniverse
Firstly, a big thanks to all of the contributors at the Twinsunica. It has been so many years, and I'm not one of you oldbees yet, but nevertheless I decided to help out and breathe new life into the project. As you can see, the entire Twinsunica has now been upgraded into the "Twinsuniverse". This is my contribution; I wanted to merge all of our knowledge for once, and improve the so hard to maintain content of the Twinsunica.
With the Twinsuniverse knowledge base, or KBT for short, we take a huge step into the future. All previous content will be retained, but improved and expanded. I understand this is a big change, but I try to keep as much of the nostalgic website in tact as possible. At least you don't have to worry about the technical aspect of things, as the project is in my enthusiastic, professional and dedicated hands, and I'm an experienced programmer myself.
And because it is such a big change (read: improvement), and a lot of previous work might become well hidden through ages of history, I strongly recommend to keep this page. We should keep a central page where we can see the original founders of the project and the different stages we went through. In any case, I'd want to give credit to everyone who worked on it so far. There are built-in features such as the Active Users and Recent Changes, but I don't think it's as personal as a neat page like this. -J McKalling (talk) 22:19, 25 November 2012 (GMT)
