This template defines the list of all news messages, and when called on a page, offers to display only the latest, or all messages.

Parameters

  • mode: whether to show only the latest or all news messages (case insensitive, defaults to all)

Guide: The news messages should be kept in the order from latest to oldest, and the "latest news" section should only contain the latest most important single news message, not necessarily the latest by date.

Example

When using the following, only the latest news will be displayed (the example is just an example message):

 |{{newslist|mode=latest}}
|}

Latest News Update

23 December 2012

  • Best news ever! We can now display news.

Not specifying the mode or leaving it empty will result in all news messages, which won't display the "more news" link.
