This template offers a multiple choice for defining the race category of an (enemy) article. It can also automatically categorize a page under that category.

Parameters

  1. The selected race from the following values (no parameter name and values are case insensitive):
    • quetch
    • grobo
    • rabbibunny
    • sphero
    • sup
    • franco
    • wannie
    • mosquibee
    • gloum
    • creature*
    • artillery*
    • any other (non)empty value defaults to: unknown
  • label: *) When choosing "creature" or "artillery", which are generic, a custom label may be used for display between brackets (optional, case sensitive)
  • nocat: Whether or not to suppress categorization under the chosen category (defaults to false, which means auto categorization).

Note: more category values should be discussed on the discussion page.

Syntax

{{Infobox Enemy/race|value}}

Examples

Any of the above values may be used like this:

{{Infobox Enemy/race|sup}}
Sup [list all]

Or this:

{{Infobox Enemy/race|franco}}
Franco [list all]

The case of the value is not important:

{{Infobox Enemy/race|frANCo}}
Franco [list all]

When choosing a creature, a more specific label may optionally be given as well, but it is case sensitive:

{{Infobox Enemy/race|creature|label=orc}}
Creature (orc[list all]

You may leave the "race" undefined (which would raise the Enemies of unknown race maintenance task) by not specifying any valid value, so these all have the same result:

{{Infobox Enemy/race}}
{{Infobox Enemy/race|}}
{{Infobox Enemy/race|ghost}}
{{Infobox Enemy/race|none}}
{{Infobox Enemy/race|monster}}
unknown [list all]

The nocat parameter may be used to suppress automatic categorization like this (any value will do):

{{Infobox Enemy/race|sup|nocat=true}}

This would render the same result as the first example above, but would not automatically categorize under Category:Sup enemies. This feature works both on valid values and the maintenance task mentioned above.
