This template is used to indicate that a particular page requires a cleanup. Using this tag on a page notifies readers that the page might not be written towards modern quality standards.
There are also many, common maintenance tasks, that are fully automated by infoboxes. You don't have to add this tag to an article that specifies incorrect/incomplete values for the infobox, for instance. This template is specifically for dated, ill written, disorganised, short or otherwise low quality articles.
Parameters
No parameters needed, just insert the template, and the message will appear.
Note: The article is automatically categorized under Category:Articles requiring a cleanup. This cannot be suppressed.
